Invasive Species for Trail Volunteers Webinar

Registration is closed for this event
Do you already care for our trails as a Trail Volunteer? Looking to take your trail maintenance to the next level? Help protect native plants and wildlife by learning how to identify and remove invasive plants from your trail segment and region!

Invasives are often the pesky overgrowth that takes over a trail and disrupts the surrounding ecosystem. In this webinar, you will learn how to identify and remove 6 types of invasive species that are common to our regional trail system. The workshop is open to all active trail volunteers. The webinar will consist of a live-streamed presentation followed by a Q&A session. No prior plant identification skills are required to sign up!

Registration is required. You will receive an email from our Invasive Species Citizen Science Program Coordinator, Brent Boscarino, about 5 days prior to the workshop with more information. The Zoom webinar link will be sent to your email address once you are registered and then again in the final confirmation 5 days prior to the workshop. See you then!
