Ever wonder how trails are built?
If you aren’t afraid to get a little dirty, this hands-on look at how great trails get their start is for you!
The Palisades Trail Crew invites you to come out for a few hours and get a taste of what trail building's all about. We'll meet you at the Buttonwood Road Trailhead, hike approximately 2 miles (or ride your bike!) to the multi-use Munsee-Eagle Trail, and show you how we're working to create an awesome new trail experience in Sterling Forest State Park.
If you come out with us and are having a great time, feel free to stay and help out til the crew finishes their workday at 5:00!
Connect with nature, meet great people, and make a difference. No experience is necessary, but space is limited!
