View the New Jersey DEP web site for complete information. To make a reservation, please contact the appropriate park, forest or recreation area office during normal business hours. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance. Fees are applicable.

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

Group campsites are available by advanced permit with a minimum of 5 campers. Primitive camping sites on the river are available ONLY to boaters and canoeists travelling from one access point to another when the distance is too great to be covered in one day. Private Campgrounds

Privatly run campgrounds tend to be more expensive than state-run operations, and sometimes offer more amenities, such as nightly entertainment and laundry. Information on private campgrounds in New Jersey can be obtained from NJ Private Campgrounds Association, 609-465-8444.
