About the Crew

The Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force Crew is made up of volunteers dedicated to protecting the native habitats in our parks by removing invasive plants.

We work throughout the region from the Delaware Water Gap to eastern Bergen county in New Jersey and from Orange county and Westchester county up to Dutchess county in New York. Anyone can participate in the crew. You don't need to know anything about the plants; we provide on-the-job training. Just bring your work gloves and come help us make a real difference in the park you love.

Get Involved

If you would like to volunteer, sign-up for one of our scheduled work trips (see Upcoming Work Trips below and click on the More Details button to go to the sign-up page).

To receive notices of upcoming work trips, email [email protected] and ask to be added to our monthly Stewardship newsletter.

For all trips bring work gloves, plenty of water, and a lunch you can eat on the trails. Trips will usually be cancelled if its raining.
