Invasive Species Citizen Science Program Coordinator

As part of our stewardship efforts, the Trail Conference leads the Lower Hudson Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (LHPRISM), a cooperative effort of more than 40 organizations and agencies involved in invasive species work in the region. We have a thriving citizen science program that involves over 300 volunteers annually in multiple overlapping programs. The Invasive Species Citizen Science Program Coordinator will plan, oversee, and implement the citizen science programs of the LHPRISM and recruit and coordinate volunteer participation.

Trail Conference Conservation Corps

The Trail Conference Conservation Corps is now accepting applications for the 2018 season!  If you have a love of the outdoors, a passion for hard work, and a thirst for knowledge, becoming a Trail Conference Conservation Corps Member might be for you. 

Currently there are twenty 900 hour positions available in several locations throughout the Lower Hudson Valley with our Invasives Strike Force and Trail Building Crews. These are 900 hour positions serving April 27 through October 16, 2018.  There are also currently three 675 hour positions available with the Terrestrial Invasives Strike Force Crew. These 675 hour positions serve from May 17 through September 17.

The Conservation Corps offers optional housing at the Welch Trail Education Center
