New Jersey Program Coordinator
The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is seeking a New Jersey Program Coordinator (PC) to support our program in partnership with local land managers, partner organizations, and volunteer leaders. This position will serve as the Trail Conference’s primary liaison in the region they are assigned to represent. They will provide support for projects, advisement on challenges, facilitation for meetings, and training opportunities for trail-related skills. The position will report to the Trail Program Manager and work closely with Trail Conference staff and volunteers, as well as numerous partner agencies.
Seasonal Trail Builder
The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is seeking a Seasonal Trail Builder to support our field programs in 2020. This position will provide technical trail-building expertise, project management, training, and support to volunteers, partners, and Conservation Corps trail crews. They will provide guidance on trail layout, design, and solutions. The position will report to the Senior Trail Builder and work closely with Trail Conference staff and volunteers as well as numerous partner agencies and contracted clients.

Construction Site Supervisor
The Trail Conference is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor (General Contractor) to work with our AmeriCorps crew to construct and restore buildings at the Welch Trail Education Center located in Harriman State Park. This is a full-time seasonal contract position of 40 hours per week. Weekend work required.
MEVO Summer Trail Crew Intern
MEVO (Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization, Inc.) in partnership with the Trail Conference is recruiting hard working college students with the desire to make a groundbreaking impact on our ecological future for our 2020 Trail Crew. Serving May through August, this internship is designed for passionate and positive individuals who want to make a difference as leaders in environmental conservation, advocate for ecologically sensitive management of park systems, and work physically hard building low-impact hiking trails.
